Waterfront Access for All
Hingham Maritime Center is a registered non-profit organization offering sailing, rowing, maritime education, and community access to the waterfront in picturesque Hingham Harbor.
Formerly named the Lincoln Sailing Club, HMC was formed in 1970 and officially established in 1971 by a group of avid sailors who wanted to teach the youth of Hingham to sail.
This group saw a need for affordable access to both the sport of sailing and the harbor and thus one of the Massachusett’s first community boating organizations was formed.
Boating for All
No membership fees. No boat ownership needed. Everyone welcome.
In our continued commitment to offering boating for all, HMC offers scholarships based on financial need, which are available to eligible sailors and rowers of all ages. For more information, please email scholarships@hinghammaritime.org.
